After my brain surgery and six week treatment of radiation in the summer of 2013, I was ready to start a new chapter, a cancer free chapter of life. In August I moved to Galveston and started a job as a pediatric nurse at UTMB. In early December my headaches were affected with the weather change and I started having seizures again.
I am back in College Station and I realize that this is what is best for me and my health at this time. My doctors, family, and overall support system are here and that makes such a difference in recovering and staying healthy. I cannot express how much your prayers and financial donation have helped me and my family.
Summer 2014 Update
We are happy to report that Kelli is currently working as a nurse at Texas A&M Student Health Center. She continues to seek treatment for recurring migraines and has MRIs every two months. Physicians can only see healing tissue from surgery and radiation with no signs of new growth or cancer!
