Keith Vermillion, an active 34 yr old father, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer, and underwent an 11 hr surgery and 15 radiation treatments to remove tumors that had crushed two vertebrae. Margaret Palacios is a 3rd grade teacher at Fabra, and mom of two teenage girls, who was diagnosed with a Stage 3 aggressive Breast Cancer.
